Questions on Rolex Gmt-Master Ii-rl171

Are the numbers on the bezel engraved within steel or is it similar to how the coke/pepsi bezel's are with the number flush? Also, there's a comment posted above about the movement - if the upgrade to Swiss is made, will the movement be close/duplicated to the true watch?

Posted on 8/12/10 9:35 PM by mfb

The numbers are engraved within the steel on the bezel.

The movement is very similar to the original model.

Can you confirm this watch has a black bezel. It seems some of your watches have a grey bezel. It is little difficult to confirm from the photos. Thanks

Why is this one rl171 ($225) more expensive then your rl98 ($155)?
    What is the difference?
    Thanks

Posted on 8/7/11 2:07 PM by JK

RL171 and RL98 are two different watches. The black bezel of RL171 is ceramic, the one from RL98 is not ceramic , and the costs are different.

does the gmt model has the 2.5 magnification cyclops lens for the date? Also, does your watches have a sturdy release pin to remove the crown stem? Also does your gmt model has the rolex crown at the 6:00 position?

    thanks.

Posted on 9/3/11 5:11 AM by Buddy

Yes, it has the 2.5 magnification cyclops lens for the date. If you want to remove the crown, the best way is to take it to a watchmaker.

This model has the Rolex crown at the 6:00 position.

how much does it weigh? how is the weigh different from your swiss model??? thanks

Posted on 9/11/11 1:27 PM by jose

All our watches have the same weight as the originals. Both Swiss and Japanese models. Gram for gram, we have carefully included all of the same thicknesses and densities of material as the genuine brand has. This means that they will sit perfectly on your wrist, and have the same 'hand-feel' as the real thing.

Will you guys be able to release the links on the bracelet before shipping it over?

Posted on 11/8/11 9:29 AM by Lawrence

If the watch bracelet is too large for your wrist, you can take it to any jeweler; they will be able to adjust it easily.

So this model does have a real ceramic bezel? Does the Rolex Rolex Rolex on the rehaut engraving line up with the minute markers? What color does the luminescents glow in the dark? Does the clasp have the glide lock clasp like the original? Last does the cyclops really have 2.5 magnification? In the picture it does not look like it does. I have bought many watches from your affiliated web site a long time ago. I have not purchased anything for a while from your company because I have found more accurately cloned watches from another company. This watch seems pretty accurate if the above questions I had are true.

Posted on 1/10/12 11:49 PM by Jimmy

This watch has a enameled stainless steel cutwork bezel with minutes and seconds marked in luminous white. The watch that you'll receive will be exactly like in the pictures posted on the website. The Rolex lines up with the minute markers.

The hands glow in the dark. The color is green.

RL171 has a brushed and polished stainless steel link bracelet with Rolex engraving deployment clasp displaying the Rolex logo.

The magnification is 2.5, just like the original item.
