How large will the watch expand to fit a large wrist?

Posted on 6/13/10 10:57 PM by Laurence D Lehman

The watches fit most wrists but for all of our watches we are able to provide extra links in case of a large wrist.

I know the sweeping "second" hand on a real Rolex is a smooth movement where as the "fake" one moves like the Timex, etc. Has any of the companys come out with the fake watch with the smooth movement. This movement is always the "give away" for telling the real from fake. How are you watches more like the real ones and how hard is it to tell your whatces from the real ones. I don't see any link at you site where you actuall tell and show the difference. Have several friends who would like to buy a "near" real watch from you. Thanks gordon

Posted on 9/26/10 5:19 AM by gordon smarse

The second’s hand sweeps just like the original item; this is the same with all of our replica watches that feature automatic movement.

Would you please clarify what type of movement you include
in the Submariner No. rl103. It is not in the your web specs.
In any case I suppose it is automatic.

    Thank you

How does the watch 'self wind'. Do you have to do it manually or is it a perpetual motion watch? Second, will the gold plating fade over time?

Can I purchase this Submariner with black bezel and black face wit the better swiss movement? It sounds like I would be better off with the swiss movement, long term, based on the information I have read on your site. Or, is there really allot of diference between to thw movements?

Posted on 5/8/11 9:53 AM by Jack Franklin

Swiss replicas are more expensive because there are differences in the movement and the mechanism we use.

Swiss replica models have Swiss made ETA automatic movement, 25 jewels. Japanese replicas have Miyota automatic movement, 21 jewels. The mechanism is more complex than a Japanese Automatic, thus more precise and resistant.

We are waiting for your order on our website. You'll receive a confirmation of your order and a tracking number.

Is this case the exact same diameter and thickness as the current Rolex Submariner? Also, does the band have screws or pins?

Posted on 7/3/11 5:04 PM by RC

Yes, they do. Gram for gram, we have carefully included all of the same thicknesses and densities of material as the genuine brand has. This means that they will sit perfectly on your wrist, and have the same 'hand-feel' as the real thing.

    The band has pins.

Is the gold plating 18K? I have also heard the term triple wrap plating, what does that mean?

Posted on 7/13/11 2:41 PM by RC

Yes, this model is 18K gold plated. Swiss have triple wrapped gold plating and Japanese- 5 microns gold plating.

Triple wrapped watches means that this plating process is done three times, giving a very thick coating of gold to the watch. Normal plating puts a single layer of about 4-5 microns of gold plating on a watch.

Please rest assured that their color will not turn or fade with time and use.

    Is this product waterproof?

Posted on 8/2/11 12:24 AM by Francisco Pereira

Our watches are water resistant and not waterproof, our guarantee does not cover water damage so I would suggest that you do not submerge any of our watches underwater, this includes washing your hands and showering.

The description state this is stainless stell and brush gold, however does this mean the gold could tarnish? I do not want the gold to tarnish and leave a green color on my wrist.

Posted on 9/2/11 1:51 AM by Jono

All of our replica watches are made from a resistant stainless steel metal alloy. The ones that are gold plated are then further coated with a protective layer for more resistance. This insures that their color will not turn or fade with time and use. However, you will have to take care of them and try not to let them get scratched.

Do the number positions and hands of the watch luminate in darkness without having to hold the watch up to a light to make it glow in the dark? I have a Movado that in the dark the numbers and hands are fully luminated to tell time. Is this the case with this watch? Thank you

Posted on 9/5/11 5:44 PM by Lou V

The number positions the hands glow in the dark.
